San Antonio FC and Tampa Bay Rowdies played out a goalless draw in USL Championship action on Saturday night, with neither side able to find a breakthrough across 90 minutes.

Chances were at a premium in a tight first half that produced little in the way of clear-cut opportunities. The two sides went into the break locked at 0–0, and the pattern continued into the second period.

Tampa Bay's Sebastian Cruz was the first player into the referee's notebook, picking up a yellow card in the 56th minute. The caution did little to shift momentum in either direction as the game remained cagey.

San Antonio pressed for a late winner but grew frustrated as the clock wound down. Akeem Ward was booked in the 83rd minute for the hosts, and the final stages failed to produce the decisive moment either team needed.

The point apiece does little to dramatically alter the picture for either club as the regular season enters its closing stretch.
