Michigan Rangers FC surrendered a two-goal lead in the dying minutes to draw 2–2 with FC Pride in NPSL action on Thursday. N. Isom opened the scoring inside the first minute for the Rangers and added a second on the hour mark, but two 90th-minute goals from D. Baumann and G. Deveau rescued a point for Pride.

Isom's opener came almost immediately from kickoff, putting the hosts ahead before most fans had settled in. The early goal set a scrappy tone. V. Durand Mpomo Ambeha picked up a yellow card for Pride in the third minute, and Michigan Rangers' C. Miller followed into the book seven minutes later.

The second half continued in the same combative fashion. Isom doubled the lead in the 60th minute, and at that stage, the Rangers looked comfortable. But the match turned on its head in a chaotic final 15 minutes. Isom, the game's dominant figure, was booked in the 75th minute and then sent off four minutes later, leaving Michigan Rangers to see out the remaining time with ten men.

They couldn't hold on. Pride smelled blood and threw numbers forward. Baumann pulled one back in the 90th minute, and before the Rangers could regroup, Deveau struck to level the score. Two goals in stoppage time completed a remarkable comeback for a Pride side that had looked beaten.

Six yellow cards were shown across the match — three to each side — reflecting the physical nature of the contest.
