Charleston Battery dismantled FC Tulsa 5–1 at home on Saturday, scoring four times in the first half before adding a late fifth. Rémi Cabral, Colton Swan, Maalique Foster, Emilio Ycaza, Wilmer Cabrera, and Chris Allan all found the net in a lopsided USL Championship contest.

Tulsa actually struck first. Cabral finished from a Jamie Webber assist in the 15th minute to give the visitors an early lead. It lasted roughly 60 seconds. Swan equalized in the 16th minute, converting after a feed from Douglas Martínez, and Charleston kept their foot down. Two minutes later, Foster made it 2–1, getting on the end of a Jeremy Kelly delivery to cap a breathless three-goal sequence in four minutes.

FC Tulsa's frustration showed quickly. Alonzo Clarke was booked in the 19th minute, and Grant Robinson followed him into the referee's notebook before halftime. Ycaza stretched the lead to 3–1 in first-half stoppage time, ensuring Charleston went into the break with a comfortable cushion.

The second half was more controlled but no less painful for Tulsa. Lamar Batista picked up a third yellow card for the visitors in the 73rd minute as the away side's discipline continued to unravel. Cabrera added a fourth in the 80th minute, finishing off an Ycaza assist, and Allan completed the rout in the 90th minute with Cabrera turning provider deep into stoppage time.

The comprehensive victory reinforces Charleston Battery's credentials at home this season and leaves FC Tulsa with serious questions to answer after a chastening night on the road.
