Dallas Trinity FC and Brooklyn FC shared the points in a 1–1 draw in USL Super League action on Saturday, with Camryn Lancaster and Rebecca Cooke trading second-half goals.

The match got off to a fiery start. Lauren Flynn picked up a yellow card inside the opening minute for Dallas Trinity, setting an aggressive tone early. Despite the early caution, neither side managed to break the deadlock before halftime, with the first 45 minutes ending scoreless.

Dallas Trinity found the breakthrough in the 58th minute. Lancaster latched onto a pass from Heather Stainbrook and converted to put the home side ahead 1–0. The goal seemed to energize the match — and the card count climbed with it. Jessica Garziano was booked for Brooklyn in the 63rd minute, and ten minutes later both Chioma Ubogagu of Dallas Trinity and Brooklyn's Jordan Thompson received yellows in the same minute as tensions flared.

Brooklyn, though, refused to fold. Cooke equalized in the 83rd minute to pull her side level and ensure the visitors would leave with a point. Dallas Trinity had no answer in the closing stages, and the match finished 1–1.

The draw adds a point apiece to both teams' tallies in the USL Super League standings, though neither side will be fully satisfied — Dallas Trinity for letting a lead slip late, and Brooklyn for leaving it so long to find an equalizer.
