Hartford Athletic and Louisville City FC shared the points in a 2–2 draw in USL Championship action on Friday night. Augustine Williams opened the scoring for the hosts in the 11th minute, Michee Ngalina added Hartford's second in the 73rd, while Jake Morris and Quenzi Huerman struck either side of halftime to pull Louisville level and then ahead before the hosts fought back.

Williams gave Hartford the early advantage, putting the home side in front with just 11 minutes on the clock. Louisville struggled to find rhythm in the first half, picking up a pair of yellow cards through Amadou Dia and Babacar Niang as the visitors grew frustrated.

Whatever was said at halftime worked. Morris equalized three minutes into the second half, finishing from a Taylor Davila assist to make it 1–1. Moments later, Hartford's Britton Fischer was booked twice in the space of a minute — yellows in the 50th and 51st minutes — leaving the hosts to play the remainder of the match a man down. Louisville seized on the numerical advantage almost immediately. Huerman completed the turnaround in the 53rd minute, putting the visitors ahead 2–1.

Hartford refused to fold, though. Down a man and trailing on the scoreboard, Ngalina pulled the hosts level in the 73rd minute to make it 2–2. The final stretch was tense and scrappy — Baboucarr Njie and Kyle Adams were both cautioned — but neither side could find a winner.

The draw keeps both teams in the mix as the regular season enters its final stretch, though neither will look back on two dropped points with much satisfaction.
