Tampa Bay Sun FC earned a comfortable 0–2 victory on the road against DC Power FC on Thursday night in USL Super League action. Faith Webber opened the scoring in the 10th minute, and Jillian Shimkin doubled the lead in the 62nd minute to seal all three points for the visitors.

Tampa Bay wasted no time asserting themselves. Webber struck early to put Sun FC ahead inside the first ten minutes, setting the tone for a match DC Power spent most of the evening chasing. The hosts struggled to find a meaningful response before the break, heading into halftime trailing by a goal.

The second half brought more frustration for DC Power. Shimkin extended Tampa Bay's advantage just past the hour mark, finishing off a pass from Jordyn Listro to make it 2–0. From there, Sun FC managed the game effectively, never allowing the home side back into the contest.

The match grew scrappy in its final stretch. Tampa Bay picked up three yellow cards across the second half — Maddie Pokorny was cautioned right at the start of the period, Sabrina McNeill followed in the 56th minute, and Carlee Giammona was booked deep into stoppage time. DC Power's Madison Murnin also saw yellow in the 84th minute. Despite the rising card count, neither side was reduced to ten.

DC Power FC couldn't muster enough going forward to trouble Tampa Bay, failing to register on the scoresheet for the full 90 minutes. The result gives Sun FC a valuable three points on the road and leaves DC Power searching for answers at home.
