Loudoun United FC and Sporting JAX played out a dramatic 2–2 draw on Friday night in the USL Championship, with three of the four goals coming in the final ten minutes. Arquimides Ordonez and Abdellatif Aboukoura scored for Loudoun, while Kieran Sadlier and Emil Jääskeläinen found the net for the visitors.

Sporting JAX controlled much of the first half without finding a breakthrough until first-half stoppage time, when Sadlier converted from a Jääskeläinen feed to give the away side a 1–0 lead heading into the break.

That advantage held deep into the second half. Loudoun looked like they might be heading for defeat before Ordonez equalized in the 81st minute, finishing off a pass from Thorleifur Úlfarsson to level the match. From there, the game unraveled into chaos.

Aboukoura appeared to complete a stunning late comeback for the hosts in the 91st minute, tucking away a chance created by Kwame Awuah — who had been booked earlier in the first half — to put Loudoun 2–1 ahead. The home side's celebrations barely had time to settle before Jääskeläinen, who had earlier set up Sadlier's opener, got on the scoresheet himself in the 93rd minute. Edgardo Rito provided the assist as the Finnish midfielder rescued a point for Sporting JAX at the death.

Loudoun picked up two early yellow cards through Boluwatife Akinyode and Awuah inside the opening 25 minutes, while Wan Kuzain was cautioned for the visitors in the 74th minute.

The point leaves both sides sharing the spoils in a result that will feel like a win for JAX and a missed opportunity for Loudoun.
