Forward Madison FC cruised to a 3–0 victory over AV ALTA FC in USL League One on Saturday, with goals from Edwin Munjoma, Ryan Carmichael, and Joshua Bolma sealing a comfortable home win.

The opening half hour set the tone. The match was feisty from the start, with yellow cards flying early — AV ALTA's Maboumou Alassane was booked in the 12th minute, and Forward Madison's Munjoma followed four minutes later. That caution did nothing to deter Munjoma, who broke the deadlock just four minutes after his booking, finishing from a Ryan Carmichael delivery in the 20th minute to give the Flamingos the lead.

The first half grew increasingly fractious. Six yellow cards were shown before the break, including four in a chaotic spell between the 37th and 44th minutes that saw Osvaldo Lay and Joaquin Acuna cautioned for AV ALTA alongside Forward Madison's Jaylen Shannon and Matt Glaeser. Despite the disorder, the visitors could not find an equalizer, and the hosts took their one-goal advantage into the interval.

Forward Madison put the result beyond doubt late on. Carmichael, the provider for the opener, got on the scoresheet himself in the 84th minute, converting from a Roman Torres pass. Deep into stoppage time, Joshua Bolma added a third, set up by Ben Augee, to put gloss on a dominant performance.

In all, the referee brandished ten yellow cards across the 90-plus minutes — five to each side — in a match that never lacked for intensity even as the scoreline grew one-sided.

The win strengthens Forward Madison's push in the League One standings as the regular season enters its final stretch.
