Athletic Club Boise secured a comfortable 2-0 victory away at FC Naples in USL League One action on Saturday, with Nick Moon and Denys Kostyshyn finding the net to seal all three points on the road.

Boise took the lead midway through the first half when Moon struck in the 16th minute, putting the visitors ahead early and forcing Naples to chase the game. The hosts struggled to find a response, and frustration began to creep in — Christopher Garcia picked up a yellow card in the 36th minute as Naples ended the half trailing by a goal.

Any hopes of a Naples comeback were dashed six minutes into the second half. Kostyshyn doubled Boise's advantage in the 51st minute, finishing off a Blake Bodily delivery to make it 2-0. From there, the match grew increasingly ill-tempered. Phillip Mayaka was cautioned for Boise in the 57th minute, and Dominic Gasso followed him into the book shortly after. Naples defender Zak Gordon was booked in the 65th minute, and Garcia received his second yellow three minutes later, reducing the home side to ten men. That effectively ended any realistic chance of a Naples fightback, though Boise's Jake Dengler also picked up a late booking in the 86th minute as the contest wound down.

Garcia's dismissal capped a miserable evening for FC Naples, who never looked capable of breaking Boise down even with a full complement of players.

The result strengthens Athletic Club Boise's position in the USL League One standings as the season enters its final stretch.
