Tampa Bay Sun FC and Lexington SC played out a 1–1 draw in USL Super League action on Sunday, with Shea Connors and Addie McCain trading first-half goals in a contest that failed to produce a winner.

Tampa Bay took the lead in the 31st minute through Connors, who found the net to give the hosts something to build on. The advantage lasted just ten minutes. McCain equalized for Lexington in the 41st, finishing from an Allyson Brown delivery to send the teams into halftime level.

The second half lacked the goal-scoring punch of the first. Lexington's Alyssa Bourgeois picked up a yellow card in the 56th minute, and teammate Hannah White was also cautioned deep into stoppage time, but neither side could find a breakthrough. Tampa Bay will feel they let two points slip after taking the early lead, while Lexington can take some satisfaction from responding quickly and earning a point on the road.

The draw keeps both teams searching for the kind of consistency needed to make a push in the Super League standings as the season rolls deeper into the fall stretch.
