Las Vegas Lights FC came from behind to beat San Antonio FC 2–1 on the road Saturday night in USL Championship action, with Johnny Rodriguez and Abraham Okyere canceling out an early Emil Cuello opener.

San Antonio started fast. Cuello gave the hosts the lead in just the sixth minute, finishing off a pass from Jorge Hernández to put the home side in control early. For the remainder of the first half, San Antonio looked comfortable with their advantage. Las Vegas picked up a booking through Giorgio Probo in the 38th minute but offered little in the way of a genuine response before the break.

That changed immediately after halftime. Rodriguez equalized in the 47th minute, latching onto a ball from Oalex Anderson to level the match and shift the momentum squarely in the visitors' favor. The game grew scrappy from there — Themi Antonoglou was cautioned for Las Vegas in the 52nd minute, followed by bookings for San Antonio's Daniel Barbir and Cuello in quick succession. Cuello's yellow in the 65th minute was notable given his earlier goal, forcing the forward to tread carefully for the rest of the evening.

Las Vegas kept pushing. Aarón Guillén picked up a card in the 76th minute, but three minutes later Okyere struck to complete the turnaround, putting the Lights ahead 2–1 in the 79th minute. San Antonio threw bodies forward in search of an equalizer but couldn't find one, with Santiago Patiño earning a late yellow deep in stoppage time as frustration set in.

The result gives Las Vegas a valuable three points on the road and deals a blow to San Antonio's push up the table during a congested summer stretch.
