Greenville Triumph SC held off a persistent Spokane Velocity FC side to win 4–3 in a seven-goal USL League One contest on Wednesday. Ivan Agyaakwah (4'), Nick Spielman (10'), Anthony Patti (51'), and Devin Boyce (76') all found the net for the hosts, while Ali Elmasnaouy struck twice (31', 87') and Luis Gil (72') replied for Spokane.

Greenville raced out of the blocks. Agyaakwah opened the scoring inside four minutes, and Spielman doubled the lead just six minutes later to put the hosts firmly in control. Spokane steadied themselves and pulled one back before halftime through Elmasnaouy, who finished from a Derek Waldeck delivery in the 31st minute.

Any hope of a Velocity comeback took an early hit in the second half. Patti restored Greenville's two-goal cushion in the 51st minute, converting from a Muba Nour pass. Gil dragged Spokane back within one in the 72nd minute, but the response was almost immediate — Boyce latched onto an Alex Villanueva assist four minutes later to make it 4–2.

Spokane refused to go quietly. Elmasnaouy grabbed his second of the night in the 87th minute, heading or slotting home from a Simon Fitch feed to set up a nervy finish at 4–3. The two-goal forward was then booked deep in stoppage time as Spokane pushed desperately for an equalizer that never came.

The win gives Greenville a valuable three points as the USL League One regular season enters its final stretch, with goal difference potentially proving decisive down the line.
