Chattanooga Red Wolves SC and Portland Hearts of Pine shared the points in a 1–1 draw in USL League One action on Saturday. Felipe opened the scoring for Portland in the first half, while Omar Hernandez rescued a point for the hosts deep into stoppage time.

The Red Wolves picked up the game's first booking when Michael Knapp was cautioned in the 22nd minute. Portland made Chattanooga pay before halftime — Felipe found the net in the 39th minute, finishing off a Matteo Kidd delivery to put the visitors ahead heading into the break.

Chattanooga spent much of the second half chasing the game. Wynand Wessels was booked in the 76th minute as the hosts' frustration grew, and a Portland clean sheet looked increasingly likely as the clock wound down.

Then came the late drama. In the first minute of added time, Hernandez latched onto a pass from Omar Gómez and buried it to level the score at 1–1. It was the kind of goal that changes the entire complexion of a result — turning what would have been three points for Portland into just one, while giving Chattanooga something to show for an evening where they trailed for over 50 minutes.

For the Red Wolves, the late equalizer will feel like a point gained; for Portland Hearts of Pine, who were seconds from a valuable road victory, it will sting as two points dropped in the League One standings race.
