Chattanooga Red Wolves SC edged FC Naples 1–0 at home on Saturday thanks to a late strike from Omar Hernandez in the 78th minute, enough to secure all three points in USL League One action.

The first half offered little in the way of goals but plenty of needle. FC Naples' William Arevalo picked up a yellow card in the 18th minute, setting an early tone for a physical contest. Neither side could find a breakthrough before the break, and the game remained locked at 0–0 heading into the second half.

The deadlock persisted deep into the second period before Hernandez broke through for the Red Wolves with 12 minutes of regulation remaining. His goal shifted the momentum entirely, and FC Naples struggled to mount a response.

Instead, frustration took over for the visitors. Both Matt Poland and Raul Miglietti were booked in the 83rd minute as tempers flared, and Hudson Gay followed them into the referee's notebook in the 89th. Chattanooga's Greyson Mercer also received a caution in second-half stoppage time. Naples threw numbers forward in search of an equalizer but could not carve out a clear chance, and the Red Wolves held firm to see out the clean sheet.

The win gives Chattanooga valuable points at home and could prove significant in a congested League One table as the season moves past its midway point.
