Erie Commodores FC cruised to a dominant 4–0 victory over Niagara 1812 in NPSL action on Friday night, with goals from A. Planas (13'), S. Giraldo Valencia (19'), J. Tovar Jaime (49'), and D. Sumner (82') sealing a comprehensive win.

The Commodores wasted no time asserting themselves. Planas opened the scoring in the 13th minute, and just six minutes later Giraldo Valencia doubled the advantage. Two goals inside the first 20 minutes left Niagara 1812 chasing the game almost from the outset, and the visitors struggled to find any foothold before the break.

Erie picked up right where they left off in the second half. Tovar Jaime made it 3–0 four minutes after the restart, effectively ending the contest. Niagara 1812, already stretched thin, had no realistic route back into the match at that point.

The final 30 minutes could have been a quiet affair, but Sumner added a fourth in the 82nd minute to put a fitting exclamation point on the performance. It was a clean sheet earned without much controversy — neither side picked up a single booking across the 90 minutes, a rarity in any league fixture.
