Greenville Triumph SC cruised to a 3–1 victory over Loudoun United FC on Wednesday night, with goals from William Akio (43'), Connor Evans (64'), and Jason Bouregy (85') sealing a comfortable USL League One win. James Murphy pulled one back for Loudoun deep in stoppage time, but it was little more than a consolation.

The first half was a tight affair for long stretches. Loudoun's Jacob Erlandson picked up a yellow card in the 37th minute, and Greenville made the visitors pay shortly after. Akio broke the deadlock just before halftime, finishing off a pass from Azaad Liadi to send the hosts into the break with a deserved lead.

Greenville came out with purpose in the second half. Evans doubled the advantage in the 64th minute, getting on the end of a Tyler Polak delivery to put the result beyond much doubt. Loudoun's Axel Essengue was cautioned four minutes later as frustration crept into the visitors' play.

Bouregy added a third in the 85th minute, converting from a Rodrigo Robles assist to cap off a dominant home performance. He was booked a minute later — not that it mattered much with the game already wrapped up. Deshane Beckford also saw yellow for Greenville as the closing minutes grew scrappy.

Murphy headed into the scoresheet in the third minute of stoppage time, finishing from a Thorleifur Úlfarsson assist to deny Greenville the clean sheet, but Loudoun never seriously threatened a comeback.

The result strengthens Greenville's position in the League One table and extends a difficult stretch for a Loudoun side struggling to find consistency on the road.
