Duluth FC and Minnesota Blizzard FC played out a 1–1 draw in NPSL action on Tuesday, with L. Corr opening the scoring in the 25th minute for the hosts before A. Soulemana equalized for the Blizzard in the 65th.

Duluth controlled the early stages and took a deserved lead when Corr found the net midway through the first half. Just a minute earlier, Minnesota's R. Nozawa had been cautioned, and worse was to come for the visiting midfielder. In the 33rd minute, Nozawa received a second yellow card and was sent off, leaving Minnesota Blizzard down to ten men with most of the match still to play.

Duluth carried their lead into halftime with the numerical advantage, and the second half looked set up for the hosts to push for a second. Minnesota, though, had other ideas. Playing a man short for over half the game, the Blizzard dug in and found a leveler through Soulemana in the 65th minute — a goal that shifted the momentum entirely.

Duluth pressed for a winner but struggled to break down a resilient ten-man defense. H. Kopany picked up a yellow card in the 77th minute as frustration crept into the home side's play. Despite the man advantage for nearly an hour of the contest, Duluth could not convert their superiority into a second goal, and the match ended level.

The draw will feel like two points dropped for Duluth FC, who failed to capitalize on a lengthy spell against ten men, while Minnesota Blizzard can take real encouragement from a hard-earned point on the road.
