Morris Elite found the net six times, their attack clicking at a rate few W League opponents will be able to contain if the form holds. But the three goals conceded will give the coaching staff something to work on — a clean sheet was never close to materializing, and Long Island demonstrated enough sharpness in the final third to ensure Morris Elite were never entirely comfortable.

The Rough Riders, for their part, can take some solace in finding the net three times on the road. A more clinical defensive effort might have made this a closer affair.
