El Paso Locomotive FC dismantled San Antonio FC 3-0 on the road Saturday night, with Alex Méndez scoring twice and Bryant Farkarlun adding a third to seal a dominant first-half performance in USL Championship play.

El Paso took control early. Méndez opened the scoring in the 20th minute, finishing off a pass from Amando Moreno to give Locomotive the lead. San Antonio struggled to find a response, and Méndez made them pay again in the 39th minute, this time going it alone to double the advantage.

The visitors weren't done. Just before halftime, Farkarlun stretched the lead to three, converting from another Moreno delivery in the 44th minute. Moreno's two assists in 24 minutes proved the difference-maker in a half that left San Antonio with a mountain to climb.

The second half was a more fractious affair. San Antonio's frustration boiled over as Emil Cuello picked up a yellow card in the 83rd minute, while Jorge Hernández was booked deep in stoppage time. El Paso's Noah Dollenmayer was also cautioned in the 76th minute as tempers flared, but neither side saw red.

El Paso managed the game comfortably after the break, content to protect their three-goal cushion. San Antonio never seriously threatened a comeback, unable to generate the quality needed to breach a well-organized Locomotive defense.

The comprehensive away victory strengthens El Paso's position in the USL Championship standings and underlines a growing confidence on the road, while San Antonio will need to regroup quickly after a chastening defeat on home soil.
