New Mexico United secured a 1-0 victory away at Sacramento Republic FC on Saturday night, with Dayonn Harris scoring the only goal of the contest in the 73rd minute.

The first half offered little in the way of decisive moments. Sacramento's Forster Ajago picked up a yellow card in the 11th minute, but neither side managed to find the back of the net before the break.

The deadlock persisted deep into the second half until Harris broke through.
