Hub City FC came from behind in the final minutes to steal a 2-1 victory away at DMV Elite FC in NPSL action on Friday. An own goal from J. Sesay gave Hub City an early lead before J. Wisdom equalized for the hosts in the 78th minute. E. Valer then struck six minutes later to clinch all three points for the visitors.

The first half was a scrappy, stop-start affair. Three yellow cards were shown in a ten-minute span — Wisdom cautioned in the 29th minute, Y. Badirov in the 36th, and Hub City's G. Whitfield in the 38th. The bookings did little to settle things down. Just three minutes after Whitfield's yellow, Sesay turned the ball into his own net to hand Hub City a 1-0 advantage heading into the break.

DMV Elite came out with more urgency in the second half, and Wisdom — playing on a booking — found the equalizer in the 78th minute to make it 1-1. The home side's momentum was short-lived. C. Feeser picked up a yellow card in the 83rd minute, and barely a minute later, Valer restored Hub City's lead. DMV Elite had no answer in the closing stages, though Hub City's S. Nesbitt was booked in the 90th minute as the visitors saw out the result.

The comeback win gives Hub City FC a valuable three points on the road and leaves DMV Elite to rue a self-inflicted first-half error that ultimately proved the difference.
