Sporting JAX came from behind — or rather, never trailed — in a five-goal affair on Saturday, beating Tampa Bay Sun FC 3–2 on the road in USL Super League action. Meg Hughes, Ashlyn Puerta (twice), Sandrine Mauron, and Carlee Giammona all found the net in a second half that produced every goal in a 22-minute burst.

The first 45 minutes ended scoreless, but the game ignited five minutes into the second half. Hughes opened the scoring for Sporting JAX in the 50th minute, converting from a Julia Lester delivery to make it 1–0. Tampa Bay's frustration showed quickly — Victoria Haugen picked up a yellow card three minutes later, and Brooke Hendrix followed her into the book on the hour mark.

Puerta then took over. She doubled the visitors' lead in the 63rd minute before adding her second four minutes later, finishing off a Jessica Hunt pass to put Sporting JAX 3–0 up. The game looked done.
