Cleveland SC earned a comfortable 2-0 victory away at Ambassadors FC Ohio in NPSL action on Wednesday, with A. Faye and H. Musabbah both finding the net in the first half.

It took Cleveland just eight minutes to break the deadlock. Faye opened the scoring early to put the visitors in front and set the tone for what would become a controlled road performance. Ambassadors barely had time to regroup before Musabbah doubled the advantage in the 20th minute, giving Cleveland a two-goal cushion before the half-hour mark.

Ambassadors FC Ohio's frustration showed when G. Petoussis picked up a yellow card in the 30th minute, though the hosts managed to see out the rest of the first half without further damage.

The second half brought no reprieve for Ambassadors. Cleveland were content to manage the game, though they weren't immune to the referee's notebook — J. Akins was cautioned in the 61st minute, followed by A. Spratt picking up a booking in the 76th. Neither card disrupted Cleveland's grip on proceedings, and Ambassadors could not manufacture a route back into the match.
