Chattanooga Red Wolves SC dismantled Richmond Kickers 5–0 in USL League One action on Wednesday, with Ropapa Mensah scoring twice and Omar Gómez also finding the net in a dominant home display.

The Red Wolves wasted no time setting the tone. Mensah opened the scoring in the fourth minute, finishing off a feed from Matthew Bentley to put Chattanooga ahead before Richmond could settle. Seven minutes later, Gómez doubled the advantage to make it 2–0. The Kickers' frustration showed almost immediately — Yann-Alexandre Fillion picked up a yellow card in the 12th minute as the visitors struggled to contain Chattanooga's attack.

The first half also saw a flashpoint in the 27th minute, when Tobi Adewole and Yanis Lelin were both cautioned for the home side in the same passage of play. Despite that brief disruption, Chattanooga carried a comfortable two-goal cushion into the break.

The Red Wolves resumed with the same intensity. Bentley, the first-half provider, got on the scoresheet himself three minutes into the second half, converting from an Omar Gómez assist. Ten minutes later, Omar Hernandez made it four, set up by Joshua Ramos. Sam Layton was booked for Richmond in the 61st minute as the Kickers' afternoon went from bad to worse.

Mensah completed his brace in the 81st minute, steering home a pass from Pedro Hernandez to cap the rout at five.

The emphatic victory underlines Chattanooga's credentials as a serious force in USL League One this season, while Richmond will need to regroup quickly after a chastening defeat on the road.
