One Knoxville SC cruised to a commanding 3-0 victory away at FC Naples on Saturday, with Denis Krioutchenkov scoring twice and Babacar Diene adding a late third to seal the result.
Knoxville took control early. Krioutchenkov opened the scoring in the 21st minute, finishing from a Teddy Baker feed to put the visitors ahead. FC Naples responded with frustration rather than composure — Marc Torrellas picked up a yellow card just two minutes later as the hosts struggled to find an immediate answer.
The first half ended with Knoxville firmly in command, and they wasted little time extending their lead after the break. Krioutchenkov grabbed his second in the 51st minute, this time converting from a Babacar Diene delivery to double the advantage. Naples never looked like mounting a comeback.
The second half grew scrappy as the game wore on. Knoxville picked up bookings through Stavros Zarokostas on 58 minutes and Braudílio Rodrigues in the 67th, though neither side was reduced to ten men. The cards did little to disrupt Knoxville's control of proceedings.
Diene, who had set up Krioutchenkov's second, got on the scoresheet himself in the 87th minute to put the finishing touch on a dominant away performance. By that point, the result had long been beyond doubt.
The emphatic win gives One Knoxville SC valuable points on the road in USL League One play and leaves FC Naples searching for answers after a thorough dismantling at home.
