Phoenix Rising FC cruised to a 1–3 away victory over Orange County SC on Saturday, with Ihsan Sacko scoring twice and Pape Boye adding another to seal a comfortable win in USL Championship action.

Rising wasted no time taking control. Boye opened the scoring in the 10th minute, finishing from a Diego Gómez feed to put the visitors ahead early. Orange County's frustration surfaced quickly — Nico Benalcazar picked up a yellow card just five minutes later. Before the home side could settle, Sacko doubled Phoenix's lead in the 19th minute with an unassisted effort, leaving Orange County chasing the game before the half-hour mark.

The second half brought a scrappy stretch. Axel Essengue and Boye received yellows in quick succession for Phoenix in the 51st and 52nd minutes, but the visitors kept their composure. Sacko struck again in the 58th minute, converting from a Jean Eric Moursou pass to make it 3–0 and effectively end the contest.

Orange County pulled one back through Yaniv Bazini in the 76th minute, who found the net off a Ryan Doghman assist, but it was nothing more than a consolation. The final fifteen minutes grew increasingly tetchy — Doghman, Christopher Hegardt, Moursou, and Tate Schmitt all saw yellow in a four-minute window as tensions boiled over in a game already well decided.

Phoenix Rising's dominant road performance strengthens their position in the standings as the regular season enters its closing stretch, while Orange County face difficult questions about a defensive display that left them exposed from the opening whistle.
