Corpus Christi FC cruised past Sarasota Paradise 4–1 at home on Saturday, with Jake Keegan's first-half brace setting the tone before second-half goals from Enock Kwakwa and Kaihim Torell completed the rout.

The match had an edge from the start. Sarasota's Aaron Walker picked up a yellow card inside two minutes, and the bookings kept coming — seven were issued across the 90 minutes, five of them to Corpus Christi players. Shannon Gomez was cautioned in the 23rd minute, but it was the hosts who struck first just two minutes later. Keegan finished from a Nacho Abeal delivery to make it 1–0.

Keegan doubled his tally in the 33rd minute, this time converting off a Blake Bowen pass to put Corpus Christi firmly in control before halftime.

Sarasota pulled one back early in the second half through Walker, who found the net in the 53rd minute despite his early booking. Any hopes of a comeback, though, were short-lived. Kwakwa restored the three-goal cushion in the 62nd minute, again benefiting from Abeal's creativity — the playmaker's second assist of the evening.

Corpus Christi weren't done. Deep into stoppage time, Torell added a fourth from a Ronald Alexis Cerritos feed to put the finishing touch on a dominant performance.

Abeal was arguably the most influential figure on the pitch without scoring, pulling strings behind two of the four goals. Keegan's double takes him further into the conversation as one of the more clinical forwards in USL League One this season.

The emphatic win gives Corpus Christi FC valuable momentum as the season approaches its midway point.
