Miami FC picked up a comfortable 2-0 win at Indy Eleven on Saturday night, with Rodrigo da Costa and Mason Tunbridge scoring either side of halftime to seal all three points on the road.

The game's opening exchanges were feisty. Alessandro Milesi went into the book for Miami in the 10th minute, and Indy's Aodhan Quinn followed him six minutes later. From there, Miami made the hosts pay almost immediately. Da Costa struck in the 17th minute to give the visitors the lead, and the goal seemed to knock the wind out of Indy Eleven. Bachir Ndiaye picked up a yellow for Miami just three minutes later as the first half continued to simmer with tension.

Indy needed to respond before the break but instead found themselves two down. Tunbridge finished off a Joel Soñora delivery in the 44th minute, giving Miami a cushion heading into the dressing room.

The second half offered little in the way of a comeback from the hosts. Miami were content to manage the game and protect their lead, though they continued to collect cards — Daltyn Knutson was cautioned in the 55th minute and Denilson Milanés followed in the 61st. Four yellows for Miami on the night suggested an edge to their defensive work, but the disciplinary issues never cost them. Joe Hafferty picked up a late booking for Indy in stoppage time as frustrations boiled over.

The result strengthens Miami FC's position in the USL Championship standings and extends a difficult spell for Indy Eleven, who were unable to generate enough going forward to trouble their opponents.
