Union Omaha came from behind to beat One Knoxville SC 1–2 on the road in USL League One action Wednesday night. John Murphy opened the scoring for the hosts in the 13th minute, but Diego Gutiérrez equalized just six minutes later. Sergio Ors then struck the winner late, finding the net in the 84th minute to secure all three points for Omaha.

Knoxville started brightly and were rewarded early. Murphy's goal gave the home side the lead and had the hosts in control of the opening exchanges. The advantage was short-lived, though. Gutiérrez pulled Union Omaha level in the 19th minute, settling the visitors and shifting momentum in what had become an open, back-and-forth contest.

The middle portion of the match grew increasingly physical. Dylan Borczak picked up a booking for Omaha in the 32nd minute, and the referee stayed busy through the second half. Finn McRobb and Vincenzo Candela were both cautioned in the 59th minute, one from each side, as tensions rose with the score still level.

Samuel Owusu was booked for Omaha in the 78th minute, but it was his team that found the decisive breakthrough moments later. Ors converted in the 84th minute to put Union Omaha ahead for the first time. Knoxville pushed hard for a late equalizer, and the frustration showed — William Perkins and Ian Fuller both received yellow cards deep into stoppage time as the home side chased the game without success.

The result extends what has been a difficult stretch for One Knoxville SC at home, while Union Omaha continue to pick up valuable points on the road early in the season.
