Lexington SC ground out a 1–0 home victory over Phoenix Rising FC on Saturday night, with Braudílio Rodrigues scoring the only goal of the match in the 63rd minute.

The first half was a largely cagey affair, though Phoenix Rising's John Scearce picked up a yellow card in the 31st minute. Neither side managed to break the deadlock before the interval, and the teams went in level at the break.

Lexington found the breakthrough midway through the second half. Blaine Ferri played in Braudílio Rodrigues, who made no mistake to put the home side ahead. It was a goal that shifted the momentum firmly in Lexington's favor, and Phoenix Rising struggled to fashion a meaningful response.

The visitors grew increasingly frustrated as the clock wound down. Luke Biasi was cautioned in the 85th minute as Phoenix pushed for an equalizer that never came. Lexington's Aaron Molloy was booked deep into stoppage time, but by then the result was all but sealed.

The win gives Lexington SC a valuable three points at home and strengthens their position in the USL Championship standings as the season enters a critical stretch.
