Lexington pushed for an equalizer in the closing stages but grew increasingly frustrated. Tarik Scott picked up a yellow card in the 85th minute as the hosts' urgency spilled over, and Alazar Milo Yosef was also cautioned late on. Neither booking led to further punishment, but the cards reflected a Lexington side chasing the game without reward.

Colorado Springs, meanwhile, managed the final minutes professionally, seeing out the result without major scares. The clean sheet will please the Switchbacks' backline, who kept Lexington at arm's length when it mattered most.
