Birmingham Legion FC cruised to a comfortable 3–0 victory over Corpus Christi FC in USL Championship action on Tuesday, with goals from Sebastián Saucedo (9'), Romario Williams (12'), and Sebastian Tregarthen (72') sealing all three points.

Legion wasted no time taking control. Saucedo opened the scoring in the ninth minute, and just three minutes later, Williams doubled the lead after finishing from a Samuel McIllhatton delivery. Two goals inside the opening 12 minutes left Corpus Christi chasing the game from the start, and they never found an answer.

The visitors' frustration showed clearly in the first-half booking spree. Pierce Infuso was cautioned in the 37th minute, followed by Jackson Dietrich in the 43rd and another Corpus Christi yellow a minute later. The cards kept coming after the break, with Arthur Medina booked in the 52nd minute and Ronald Alexis Cerritos picking one up in the 59th. Five yellows across the squad painted the picture of a side struggling to contain Birmingham's attacking play through legal means.

Despite the two-goal cushion, Legion kept pressing. Tregarthen put the result beyond any doubt in the 72nd minute, converting from a Kadeem Cole pass to make it 3–0. Tregarthen was himself booked ten minutes later, the lone yellow for the home side on an otherwise disciplined evening.

Corpus Christi rarely threatened and offered little going forward, with Birmingham controlling proceedings from start to finish.

The emphatic win gives Birmingham Legion FC valuable momentum as the season pushes deeper into the summer stretch of the USL Championship calendar.
