Louisville City FC came from behind to beat Loudoun United FC 2–1 at home on Saturday, with Ray Serrano and Chris Donovan striking before halftime to overturn an early deficit. Edward Davis had opened the scoring for Loudoun in just the fifth minute.

The visitors made a fast start. Davis finished from an Abdellatif Aboukoura delivery to put Loudoun ahead, and for the next half hour the traveling side looked comfortable. Sean Young picked up a yellow card in the 16th minute, but Louisville struggled to find a way through.

That changed in the 38th minute. Serrano equalized, converting from a Quenzi Huerman assist to level the match and shift the momentum squarely toward the home side. Louisville didn't let up. Donovan added a second on the stroke of halftime, sending the hosts into the break with a 2–1 lead after a dominant closing stretch to the first half.

The second half produced no further goals but plenty of tension. Huerman, who had set up Louisville's equalizer, was cautioned in the 65th minute. Loudoun's Kwame Awuah followed him into the book in the 84th minute as the visitors pushed for a leveler. Tempers flared late, with yellow cards shown to Evan Davila and Boluwatife Akinyode deep into stoppage time as Louisville saw the result out.

The comeback victory strengthens Louisville City FC's position in the USL Championship standings as the season enters its final stretch, while Loudoun United will rue a promising start that ultimately yielded nothing on the road.
