Chattanooga Red Wolves SC and New York Cosmos played out a wild 3–3 draw in USL League One on Saturday, with six goals spread across the 90 minutes and neither side able to hold onto a lead for long.

The hosts made a blistering start. Pedro Hernandez needed just 60 seconds to open the scoring, and Tobi Adewole doubled the advantage in the 32nd minute, finishing from an Eric Kinzner delivery. At 2–0, Chattanooga looked in complete control.

The Cosmos clawed one back before halftime through Sebastián Guenzatti, who converted from a Christian Koffi assist in first-half stoppage time. That goal shifted the momentum entirely. Néstor Cabrera equalized in the 56th minute to complete a rapid New York turnaround.

Chattanooga responded almost immediately. Yanis Lelin restored the home side's lead in the 60th minute, picking up where Omar Hernandez left off to make it 3–2. Once again, though, the Red Wolves could not protect their advantage. Philip Spengler leveled for the Cosmos in the 77th minute, connecting from a Justin Milovanov assist to set the final score at 3–3.

The closing stages grew testy. Michael Knapp picked up a yellow card in the 86th minute for Chattanooga, and both Roberto Apolinar and New York's Anges Kader Bohui were booked deep into stoppage time as frustrations boiled over with neither team able to find a winner.

A point apiece does little to separate two sides likely looking over their shoulders in the standings, with both squads left to wonder how they let a lead slip.
