Union Omaha picked up a comfortable 2–0 home victory over Chattanooga Red Wolves SC in USL League One action on Saturday, with second-half goals from Sergio Ors and Allen Gavilanes sealing the three points.

The first half was a scoreless but fractious affair. Chattanooga's Yanis Lelin was cautioned in the 13th minute, and teammate Joshua Ramos followed him into the book in the 37th. The Red Wolves' early indiscipline failed to yield any advantage for Union Omaha before the break, though, as the hosts went in level at halftime.

The deadlock broke in the 57th minute. Ors finished off a chance created by Kempes Waldemar Tekiela to put Union Omaha ahead, and from that point the home side looked in control. Chattanooga needed to push forward in search of an equalizer but struggled to create anything meaningful.

Gavilanes doubled the lead in the 82nd minute to effectively end the contest. Cole Jensen picked up a late yellow card for Union Omaha in the 89th minute, but by then the result was well beyond doubt.

The clean sheet and convincing scoreline will please Union Omaha as they look to build momentum in the League One season, while Chattanooga will need to regroup quickly after a frustrating road trip that offered little going forward.
