Miami FC earned a comfortable 2–0 victory over Indy Eleven in USL Championship action on Wednesday night, with goals from Rodrigo da Costa and Jürgen Locadia securing all three points for the hosts.

The first half was largely a cagey affair, but Miami found the breakthrough just before the break. Da Costa struck in the 44th minute, finishing off a chance created by Joel Soñora to give the home side a 1–0 lead heading into halftime. It was a well-timed goal, the kind that forces an opponent to chase the game after the interval.

Indy Eleven came out needing a response in the second half but struggled to find one. Miami remained in control of proceedings and extended their advantage midway through the half. Soñora picked up a yellow card in the 74th minute, but it did little to disrupt Miami's momentum. Just two minutes later, Locadia doubled the lead, converting from an Alessandro Milesi delivery to put the result beyond doubt at 2–0.

From there, Miami managed the game out without any real scares. Indy Eleven offered little in the way of a late push, and the final whistle confirmed a clean sheet and a deserved home win.

The result gives Miami FC valuable points in the Championship standings and continues a difficult stretch for Indy Eleven, who left South Florida empty-handed.
