Dallas Trinity FC and Tampa Bay Sun FC played out a 1–1 draw in the USL Super League on Saturday, with Tori Waldeck's stoppage-time equalizer denying the hosts all three points. Seven Castain had opened the scoring for Dallas in the 49th minute, but Waldeck finished from a Jordan Zade delivery in the 90+3' to rescue a point for Tampa Bay.

The first half produced no goals but plenty of friction. Tampa Bay picked up three yellow cards before the break — Darya Rajaee in the eighth minute, Kelsey Hill in the 20th, and Sydny Nasello in the 39th — as the visitors struggled with discipline while the match remained scoreless.

Dallas came out sharper after halftime. Castain broke the deadlock four minutes into the second half, putting Trinity FC ahead and shifting the momentum firmly in the home side's favor. Dallas then collected bookings of their own, with Carissa Boeckman cautioned in the 60th minute and Sofía Caicedo following five minutes later, as the match grew increasingly physical.

Tampa Bay pressed for a way back into the game as the clock wound down, and they found it at the last possible moment. Waldeck met Zade's assist deep into stoppage time to level the score and steal a point that had looked unlikely for much of the second half.

The late equalizer will sting for Dallas Trinity FC, who controlled the second half and were minutes from a valuable home win, while Tampa Bay will take the draw as a reward for refusing to settle for defeat.
