Corpus Christi FC snatched all three points with a dramatic stoppage-time winner, beating Athletic Club Boise 2–1 at home on Saturday night. Blake Bowen opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, Thomas Amang equalized for Boise in the 63rd, and Jonathan Kliewer struck deep into added time to settle it.

Corpus Christi controlled the early stages and took the lead through Bowen, who converted from an Andrew Booth delivery to put the hosts ahead. The remainder of the first half passed without further scoring, and Corpus Christi carried their advantage into the break.

The second half turned fractious. Boise's Jesús Barea and Phillip Mayaka were booked in quick succession in the 57th and 58th minutes, with Corpus Christi's Sam Roscoe-Byrne following into the referee's notebook moments later. Out of that spell of tension, Boise found their equalizer — Amang pulling the visitors level in the 63rd minute.

The game looked destined for a draw as it stretched into stoppage time, but the closing minutes grew increasingly ragged. Omar Yehya received a yellow for Boise in the 91st minute, and Corpus Christi's Kyle Barganski was cautioned shortly after. With the match deep into seven minutes of added time, Kliewer found the net to send the home crowd into scenes of celebration and leave Boise with nothing to show for their second-half resilience.

The result gives Corpus Christi a valuable three points as the USL League One season enters its final stretch, with late-season victories like this one capable of defining playoff positioning.
