Duluth FC dismantled Minnesota Blizzard FC 4-0 on the road Saturday in NPSL action, racing to a commanding lead inside the first half hour. K. Vertil-Dorélus opened the scoring in the eighth minute, J. Magalhaes doubled the advantage just four minutes later, and J. Wyles made it three in the 15th. Magalhaes then added his second of the evening in the 28th minute to complete a ruthless opening spell.

Minnesota Blizzard FC had no answer for Duluth's early onslaught. By the time the half-hour mark arrived, the hosts were already chasing shadows, trailing by four with the contest effectively over as a competitive fixture.

The second half offered little in the way of goalmouth action but plenty of needle. J. Maldonado picked up a yellow card for Duluth before the break had even settled, booked in the 41st minute. F. Esteban followed him into the referee's notebook three minutes after halftime, and Minnesota's M. Lorenzo was cautioned in the 63rd. M. Locher II and A. Estrada Cortez collected late yellows for Duluth in the 80th and 87th minutes respectively, as tempers frayed in a game long since decided.

Despite the five bookings across both sides in the second period, neither team found the net again. Minnesota Blizzard FC rarely threatened a consolation, while Duluth appeared content to manage the clock and preserve energy.

The emphatic victory strengthens Duluth FC's position in the NPSL standings and raises serious questions about Minnesota Blizzard FC's ability to compete at this level moving forward.
