Las Vegas Lights FC came from behind to beat Brooklyn FC 2–1 at home on Saturday night in USL Championship action. Juan Carlos Obregón Jr gave Brooklyn an early lead in the fourth minute, but second-half goals from Oalex Anderson (68') and Johnny Rodriguez (87') completed the turnaround for the hosts.

Brooklyn struck first and struck fast. Obregón Jr finished from a Christopher Olney Jr. delivery just four minutes in, putting the visitors ahead and setting the tone for a scrappy opening period. Tempers flared early, with Las Vegas' Marc Ybarra picking up a yellow card in the 14th minute and Brooklyn's Gabriel Alves following him into the book five minutes later.

Las Vegas struggled to find a response through the first half and into the second, but the complexion of the match shifted midway through the second period. Anderson equalized in the 68th minute, converting from a Manuel Arteaga feed to pull the Lights level. Brooklyn's Callum Frogson had been cautioned three minutes earlier, and the visitors appeared to lose their composure as the game wore on.

Rodriguez then delivered the decisive blow in the 87th minute, finishing off a Nykolas Sessock assist to put Las Vegas ahead for the first time. Brooklyn pushed for a late equalizer but found nothing. Themi Antonoglou had been booked for Las Vegas in the 83rd minute, while Brooklyn picked up two more yellows in stoppage time through Vuk Latinovich and Marlon LeBlanc as frustration set in.

The comeback victory gives Las Vegas Lights FC a valuable three points at home and could prove crucial in what shapes up as a tight battle for playoff positioning in the second half of the season.
