Dallas Trinity FC ground out a 1–0 victory over Carolina Ascent FC in USL Super League action on Friday night, with Alexis Missimo's second-half strike proving the difference.

The first half was a cagey affair defined more by caution than creativity. Carolina Ascent's Taylor Porter picked up a yellow card in the 22nd minute, and Dallas's Gracie Brian followed into the referee's notebook five minutes later. Neither side managed to break the deadlock before the interval.

The game opened up after the break. Missimo found the breakthrough in the 64th minute, finishing off a pass from Tamara to give Dallas Trinity the lead. It was a goal that shifted the momentum firmly in favor of the hosts, who then set about managing the advantage.

Dallas had to navigate a scrappy final stretch. Hannah Davison was cautioned in the 79th minute, and Sealey Strawn joined her in the book deep into stoppage time as the home side did what was necessary to protect their slim lead. Carolina Ascent pushed for an equalizer but could not carve out enough to trouble Dallas Trinity in the closing stages.

The clean sheet and three points mark a valuable result for Dallas Trinity FC as they look to climb the USL Super League table heading into the latter stages of the season.
