Siouxland United FC and Duluth FC played out a goalless draw in NPSL action on Friday night, with neither side able to find a breakthrough across 90 minutes.

The first half passed without major incident, as the two teams went into the break level at 0-0. Chances were at a premium, and the scoreboard stayed blank heading into the second period.

The match grew more heated as it wore on. Duluth FC's J. Wilson picked up a yellow card in the 75th minute, and Siouxland's J. Wyles followed into the referee's notebook ten minutes later in the 85th. Neither booking led to further punishment, but the cards reflected a game that tightened considerably in its final stretch as both sides pressed for what would have been a winner.

It never came. The final whistle confirmed a share of the spoils in a match that lacked the quality needed to produce a goal.

The point apiece does little to dramatically alter the picture for either club in the NPSL standings, though both will feel a win was there for the taking on a frustrating evening.
