West Chester United SC and WC Predators played out a wild 4–4 draw in NPSL action on May 27, with eight goals — six of them inside the opening 25 minutes — producing a result neither side will forget quickly.

The Predators struck first through C. Grabfelder in the eighth minute, and the forward was involved again seven minutes later, setting up R. Robinson to make it 2-0. West Chester pulled one back almost immediately when D. Malhomme de la Roche finished from an O. Steinicke feed in the 16th minute, but Grabfelder restored the two-goal cushion in the 20th, converting after a pass from O. Slack to put the visitors 3-1 ahead.

West Chester refused to buckle. Steinicke turned provider twice more in quick succession, first finding A. Fedor in the 23rd minute, then teeing up A. Larkin two minutes later to level the score at 3-3. The frantic opening gave way to a more measured second half — until the final ten minutes.

Larkin, who had been booked in the 65th minute, put that caution aside and struck again in the 80th, finishing off a F. Donzo delivery to give the hosts a 4-3 lead. It looked like West Chester had completed a remarkable comeback. The Predators had other ideas. A. Axtman, set up by the tireless Grabfelder, equalized in the 88th minute to snatch a share of the points.

Grabfelder finished with two goals and two assists on the night, while Steinicke provided three assists for West Chester. Larkin's brace gave him the individual honors on the home side.

The draw leaves both teams still searching for a decisive result as the NPSL season rolls on.
