Brooklyn FC and Spokane Zephyr FC shared the points in a 1–1 draw in USL Super League action on Wednesday night. Emma Loving opened the scoring for Brooklyn in the 56th minute, but Emma Jaskaniec rescued a point for Spokane deep into stoppage time to deny the hosts all three points.

The first half produced no goals, with neither side able to find a breakthrough before the interval. The deadlock broke eleven minutes into the second half when Loving found the net to put Brooklyn in front. For much of the remaining half-hour, the home side looked set to hold on.

The closing stages grew tense. Jaskaniec was cautioned in the 84th minute, followed by Brooklyn's Mylena Santos two minutes later as challenges grew more desperate. But it was Jaskaniec — already on a yellow — who had the final say. The Spokane forward struck in the first minute of added time to level the score and secure a share of the spoils for the visitors.

It was a gut punch for Brooklyn, who had managed the game well after taking the lead and were minutes away from collecting a full haul. For Spokane, the late equalizer will feel closer to a victory than a draw, with Jaskaniec's willingness to push forward despite her booking proving the decisive moment of the match.

The result leaves both teams searching for consistency as the USL Super League season continues to take shape.
