Ristozi FC completed a remarkable comeback to beat DMV Elite FC 3–2 on the road in NPSL action on Friday, overturning a two-goal deficit with three unanswered strikes in the final 25 minutes. K. Clapp, B. Baker, D. Akinsanya, P. Beserra, and M. Kholti Yamani all found the net in a five-goal contest that swung decisively late.

DMV Elite looked comfortable early. Clapp opened the scoring in just the fourth minute, giving the home side an ideal start. Baker doubled the advantage on the half-hour mark, and the hosts carried a 2–0 lead into halftime with little reason for concern.

The second half told a different story. Akinsanya pulled one back for Ristozi in the 65th minute, and suddenly there was a game on. DMV Elite's cushion was gone entirely in the 83rd minute when Beserra equalized to make it 2–2.

With momentum firmly on their side, Ristozi pushed for the winner. Tafese picked up a yellow card in the 87th minute as the match grew increasingly tense, but the visitors would not be denied. Kholti Yamani struck in the 90th minute to complete the turnaround, sending the away side into celebration. Greenwood was booked in stoppage time as emotions spilled over, but it hardly mattered — Ristozi had already done the damage.

The result gives Ristozi FC a valuable three points on the road and serves as a warning to opponents that no lead is safe against a side capable of that kind of late surge.
