Westchester SC and Fort Wayne FC shared the spoils in a 1–1 draw in USL League One on Wednesday night, with Conor McGlynn and Taig Healy trading goals either side of halftime.

Westchester took the lead in the 28th minute when McGlynn finished off a Maximus Jennings delivery to put the hosts ahead. It was a deserved advantage for Westchester, who carried the momentum through the remainder of the first half. Fort Wayne's Tiago Dias picked up a yellow card right before the break, the game's first booking, as tensions began to simmer heading into halftime.

Fort Wayne came out with more urgency after the interval and found their equalizer in the 74th minute. Taig Healy converted from a Kabiru Gafar pass to level the score and shift the complexion of the match entirely.

What followed was an ugly final stretch. The game grew increasingly fractious, with six yellow cards dished out in a 10-minute span. Bobby Pierre was booked in the 78th minute for Westchester, and teammates George Gjokaj and Jennings soon followed him into the referee's notebook. Fort Wayne weren't innocent bystanders either — Jon Paul Jordan II and assist provider Gafar both saw yellow in quick succession. The cards disrupted any rhythm either side might have found in search of a winner, and the match petered out at 1–1.

The draw does little to dramatically alter the picture for either club, but Fort Wayne will take the greater satisfaction after clawing back a goal on the road in a match that grew hostile down the stretch.
