Carolina Ascent FC cruised to a 1–3 away victory over Dallas Trinity FC in the USL Super League on Saturday, with goals from Rylee Baisden, Audrey Coleman, and Sydney Cheesman sealing a comfortable win. Jasmine Hamid grabbed a consolation for the hosts.

Carolina picked up an early yellow card when Shea Groom was booked in the 13th minute, but the visitors didn't let it disrupt their rhythm. Baisden opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, finishing from a Jillienne Aguilera delivery to give Carolina the lead. Dallas struggled to find an answer, and the deficit doubled before halftime. Coleman made it 2–0 in the 43rd minute, converting after a pass from Mackenzie George to send the visitors into the break with a commanding advantage.

Dallas came out with more urgency after the interval. Hamid pulled one back just three minutes into the second half, latching onto a Camryn Lancaster assist to cut the deficit to 2–1 and inject some life into the home side's effort. For a stretch, a comeback looked possible.

It never materialized. Reese Tappan picked up a yellow card for Carolina in the 72nd minute, but three minutes later, Cheesman restored the two-goal cushion to effectively end the contest at 3–1. Dallas had no response in the final fifteen minutes.

The result gives Carolina Ascent FC a valuable three points on the road and piles pressure on a Dallas Trinity FC side that will need to regroup quickly as the season progresses.
