Lexington SC cruised to a 4–2 victory over Sporting JAX in USL Super League action on Friday night, with goals from Sarah Griffith, Emina Ekic, Catherine Barry, and Shea Moyer sealing a comfortable win despite a late consolation from the visitors.

Lexington took control early. Griffith opened the scoring in the 17th minute, finishing off a delivery from Hannah Johnson to put the hosts ahead. The rest of the first half passed without another goal, but Lexington carried clear momentum into the break.

Ekic doubled the lead six minutes into the second half, striking in the 51st minute to give Lexington a two-goal cushion. Johnson then turned provider again in the 73rd minute, setting up Barry to make it 3–0 and all but end the contest.

Sporting JAX finally responded in the 79th minute when Paige Kenton pulled one back, converting from an Ashlyn Puerta assist. The goal briefly gave Jacksonville a flicker
