Portland Hearts of Pine and FC Naples shared the spoils in a 1–1 draw in USL League One on Sunday, with Ollie Wright opening the scoring in the first half and Max Glasser rescuing a point for the visitors late on.

Wright broke the deadlock in the 36th minute, finishing off a chance created by Joshua Drack to put Portland ahead before the break. The home side carried that lead into halftime, though Diogo Barbosa picked up a yellow card just before the interval to give Naples a set-piece opportunity that came to nothing.

Portland's discipline became an issue in the second half. Titus Washington was booked in the 63rd minute, Mohamed Mohamed followed in the 74th, and Matteo Kidd saw yellow in the 85th — four cautions in total for the home side across the match. That growing indiscipline hinted at a team under pressure, and Naples eventually made them pay.

With three minutes of regulation remaining, Glasser equalized for FC Naples in the 87th minute, converting from a Kevin O'Connor delivery to snatch a share of the points. It was a bitter pill for Portland, who had done enough to protect their lead for over 50 minutes before conceding.

The draw leaves both sides searching for the kind of results that turn single points into three, with the USL League One season still in its early stages and margins razor-thin across the table.
