Richmond Kickers routed Corpus Christi FC 5–1 at home on Saturday, powered by a Tarik Pannholzer hat trick that turned a halftime deficit into a commanding USL League One victory. Lucca Dourado and Owen O'Malley also found the net for Richmond, while Jake Keegan had given Corpus Christi an early lead.

It was the visitors who struck first. Keegan finished from a Blake Bowen assist in the seventh minute to put Corpus Christi ahead, and for much of the opening half it looked like the away side had settled into a comfortable position. The closing moments of the first half grew testy, though — Jack Keaney was booked in first-half stoppage time, and Pannholzer equalized moments later deep into added time. Éamon Zayed then picked up a yellow card before the halftime whistle, capping a fractious end to the half with the score level at 1–1.

Richmond came out after the break and blew the match open. Dourado made it 2–1 in the 51st minute, and just sixty seconds later Pannholzer struck again, converting from a Nils Seufert delivery to extend the lead. The German-born forward completed his hat trick in the 61st minute, giving Richmond a four-goal cushion that effectively ended the contest.

O'Malley added a fifth in the 74th minute, latching onto a Dakota Barnathan pass to round off the scoring. He was booked five minutes later, though the caution was little more than a footnote in what had already become a one-sided affair.

The emphatic win marks a statement result for Richmond Kickers as the USL League One season enters its final stretch.
